It was situated on the edge of the village with on site parking ...only a short walk in to the village ....beautiful views across to Africa and Gibralter....would recommend paying slightly more for a room with a balcony......we took a little dog who was made very welcome . The staff were very helpful and cheerful....idela postiiotn for exploring the local area .....some lovely beauty spots to find and enjoy ...a very nice stay and would definately go there again and would recommend to anybody wanting to get away from the coast and enjoy the surrounding countryside.
It would have been nice to have been able to just have coffee and toast for breakfast ...but that was our preference .......the breakfast was very nice but way too much for us so at 6 euros each was quite expensive.

Have stayed here before and still think it provides excellent value for money. Easy parking just outside door. Very good internet access in public areas but what makes this hotel standout are the views of the surrounding mountains and all the way down to the Rock of Gibraltar and the Atlas mountains across the "Straits". It is also an easy drive through the mountains to Ronda a town well worth a visit.
Breakfast could be a little bit more imaginative.

Incredible views. Spacious, cool, comfortable room with a balcony - almost verging on the mini suite. Good food in the hotel restarant and the breakfast was perfectly adequate. All this for a very modest price. What more could one ask?

There were lovely views from the terrace of this hotel and breakfast outside was great.
The food was not great but on the whole was good value. We would have liked a room with a view but one was not available. I think this would have made a difference to our impression of the hotel.

A stunning location with open balcony to sit out on and listen to tinkling bells on the grazing sheep and goats at dusk. Watch the sun go down on Gibraltar and the African mountains 40ks away. Breakfast on veranda and excellent dinner made this a memorable stay

Good and clean accommodation, excellent food and very friendly and helpful staff. The views from the hotel are truly fantastic. Excellent English spoken at the hotel made up for our lack of Spanish. It was very easy to park outside the hotel. The village is quiet and peaceful and we were sorry to leave.

Nice Hotel in a lovely small village. The people of the reception were helpful and nice. The view on the terrace was great and dinner was good (price very good). You can park in front of the hotel for free.
There was no meats or cheese during breakfast.

Caballo Andaluz is a small, comfortable hotell in the beautiful Ronda mountain region with small, white villages. Our room with a terrace had a wonderful view towards the sea. It was a bit hazy (in July), but on a clear day you could see Gibraltar and Africa. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, everything was very clean, and the hotel was very quiet. We had a pleasant breakfast on the restaurant terrace with a nice continental breakfast (the croissants were particularly good) including fruit. The hotell is very easy to reach, as it is situated just by the road. There were a number of parking spaces outside, and more possibilities close by.

Easy to find and has off road parking which is a bonus in Gaucin. The rooms are very well appointed and comfortable. We stayed in one of the superior doubles which had two double beds and a large balcony overlooking a south facing aspect which gave us panoramic views of several valleys, Gibraltar and the Rif mountains in Morocco and we felt it was worth the small extra cost. However there is a sitting area with the same views for those who do not have a private balcony. The hotel is tastefully decorated throughout. It is on the edge of Gaucin in easy walking distance of the main body of the village and also with easy access (by car) to several other delightful villages and approx 40 kms from Ronda. A good continental breakfast is included in the price. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would go back again.

The Hotel was easy to find, attractive, spotlessly clean. The owner and staff did everything they could to be helpful, friendly and very welcoming. I was very happy and would definitely stay again if I need to travel to the area again. I have absolutely no complaints and would highly recommend the hotel. I am only sorry that my stay was after the 1 November and we were not able to eat in the restaurant which I bet would have been very good. We had a beautiful room with a fantastic balcony and view. Thank you very much to everyone at Caballo Andaluz. I hope I can come again one day.
Nothing, perfect for us.

There was some strange smell in the room. Be careful not to be locked in the balcony!

This hotel has excellent price/quality relation. Its easy to find and the staff is very helpful. It's walking distance to village center. We strongly recomend the rooms with balcony and view over Gibraltar, the view is stunning. The restaurant at the hotel is good and well decorated. Overall we loved our stay and loved Gaucin.
